TRIVIA

Trivia

According to Cynthia Rothrock, Stacy Keach was originally written as a sidekick character, with Rothrock's role being more prominent. Keach agreed to be in the production only if his character received greater exposure and storyline importance. Regardless of this situation, Rothrock claims Keach was friendly and agreeable to work with.

Filmed as a "backdoor pilot" for a potential television series that was never produced. Cynthia Rothrock claimed this was because the movie was made at a time when American television networks were very sensitive about the amount of violence they would broadcast. Reportedly, director Kevin Hooks would receive frequent memos from the studio advising him not to film specific acts of violence, like kicks to the head. According to Rothrock, Hooks ignored the notes and made the film tue way he wanted.
