This movie marks the first combination of the trio hero, director and music director (Pawan Kalyan, Trivikram, Devisriprasad). They repeated their trio in other industrial hit movie Attarintiki Daaredhi.
The actor Pawan Kalyan has a blackbelt in karate that was very helpful to him in the climactic sword fight.
