TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Debut theatrical feature film directed by screenwriter Jerry Belson.

The film was made in 1981 and first released in 1982 which was about ninety-five years after its source novella 'The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde' by author Robert Louis Stevenson had been first published in 1886.

First starring role in a theatrical feature film of actor-comedian Mark Blankfield.

Some reports state that this movie was the theatrical feature film debut of actor-comedian Mark Blankfield but these are incorrect as he had appeared in the cinema movie 'The Incredible Shrinking Woman' (1981) the previous year.

Star Mark Blankfield later in this film's same 1980s decade starred as the title character again in another modern medical comedy based on another gothic horror novel which was ''Frankenstein'' (1818) by Mary Shelley. This time it was playing Dr. Bob Frankenstein in 'Frankenstein General Hospital' (1988) which was made and first released about six years after 'Jekyll and Hyde... Together Again' (1982).

Popular Dialogues

"Mr. Hyde: [as Hyde] I'm a drug crazed beast with a giant erection that won't go away no matter how many times I do it. You're a nurse; what can you give me for it? Nurse with Telegram: I can give you sixty dollars and my wedding ring. Mr. Hyde: Bus fare! I need big money for drugs!"

"[Tries to flush the powder down the toilet but grabs it at the last second] Dr. Jekyll: How stupid of me! What if this had been flushed out to sea? How callous of me, not to think of the fishes and the dolphins and the whales and the pelicans... they could be damaged by this terrible, terrible... ohhhhh... [starts cutting lines from the powder]"
