Michael Bonfiglio was nominated for the 2018 Emmy Award in the Outstanding Directing For A Variety Special category for Jerry Before Seinfeld (2017), but lost to Glenn Weiss for The Oscars (2018).

And, uh, I don't wanna be ashamed of it any more, and I wanna lead a funny life style, now. I wanna be with other funny people, I wanna have breakfast at two in the afternoon." Jerry Seinfeld: And the other thing was meeting girls - in the bar, out there. That was a new thing, to, because comedians sometimes have a little difficulty in normal social situations. I can do THIS, for some reason. And I always felt comfortable doing what I'm doing right now. I can talk to all of YOU, but I can't talk to ANY of you."
