TRIVIA

Trivia

Joanne Lees stated she was not consulted during the film's production, and that the real turn of events are detailed in her book 'No Turning Back', which was released in October 2006 and dedicated to Peter Falconio.

Writer Kate Brooke began work on the screenplay at the start of the actual murder trial, which she attended with producer Matt Carroll.

The film is based largely on accounts from the case's public prosecutor Rex Wild, played in the film by Australian actor Bryan Brown.

Was filmed over a span of four weeks in Broken Hill and Sydney's Fox Studios, where a replica of the Darwin courtroom was built, in August 2006.

The Darwin airport terminal scenes were filmed in the Grand Foyer of Qudos Bank Arena (formerly the Sydney Superdome).
