Jodi Review

The audience's devotion to Punjabi music and films continues to be unrivalled, therefore they experience unparalleled elation every time a new Punjabi film is released. Another outstanding example of how Punjabi movie continues becoming better and better is Jodi. This film, which stars everyone's favourites Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira, would not have been the same without them. Their on-screen chemistry makes us adore their jodi, and their singing makes us fall in love with them once more. The music back then was very different from what it is now, and the movie does an excellent job of portraying the realities of Punjabi culture and music in the 1980s. The Punjabi folk songs in the film make you yearn to go back in time and revel in the music that was popular at the time. The difficulties these Punjabi singers face in order to gain recognition and appreciation for their work among a wider audience are also shown in this film.
