TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Jeremy Jordan's first movie and starring role.

Dolly Parton wrote three new songs for the film: "Not Enough Love", "From Here to the Moon and Back", and "He's Everything".

Jeremy Jordon was 27 and Keke Palmer was only 19 while they were both, playing a couple and playing high school students.

Excluding her bit parts and cameos as herself, this is Dolly Parton's first big screen role in 20 years ever since Straight Talk (1992), playing a major character. This film was meant to be an acting comeback for the singer.

Jeremy Jordan (Randy) and Jesse L. Martin (Marcus Hill) appeared in the Arrow (2012)-verse. Jordan plays Winn in Supergirl (2015), and Martin plays Joe West in The Flash (2014). They sang in the musical crossover episode of the two shows in 2017.

Popular Dialogues
