Kacher Manush Review

Kacher Manush is a film in which wealth is the villain. Dev portrays Kuntol, a jobless guy searching for money to help his disabled mother. Prosenjit portrays an insurance agent who not simply agrees to Dev's plan to kill himself in order to collect death benefits, but also helps him carry it out in exchange for half of his insurance money, which he needs to cure his sister's heart condition. The second half presents a substantial tone shift, which some may argue detracts from the film's comic edge. There is a major storyline twist immediately before the intermission, as well as a couple of major shockers before the conclusion. The runtime might have been cut down and the editing improved. There are a few instances of actual comedy, as well as a few conversations between the two characters. In a nutshell Kacher Manush does not disappoint its audience, despite making them wait.
