TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

In the U.S., there was a mere eighteen days between the theatrical and home video releases. This is possibly a record for the shortest amount of time it has ever taken for any film to go from the cinema to home video in North America. On September 10, 2010, the movie was released in a limited capacity theatrically, and it was released on September 28, 2010 on DVD (sold exclusively at Walmart) and Blu-ray (sold exclusively at Best Buy). The DVD and Blu-ray were later released to all national retailers on December 28, 2010.

The song that plays in the background many times and that Cal comes out too for his match in the end is sang by John Cena who plays his brother in the movie...it is also John Cena's original song that he came out to when he wrestled in WWE..

Popular Dialogues

"Harry 'Red' Newman: Like I said, not all legends are about victory. Some are about struggle, finding out who you are and your reason for being."

"Harry 'Red' Newman: You see, in Oklahoma not all legends are about victory. Some are less obvious. Some you don't see coming. Some are born out of struggle."
