The TV movie is an unofficial entry of the "Star Wars" saga and was done as a comedy.
Anthony Daniels is the one of the only actors from the "Star Wars" movies reprising his the voice of C-3PO, which he has played since 1977. Some of the actors from The Clone Wars movie and TV show also return, such as Tom Kane as The Narrator and Yoda.
Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker appear as separate characters. (Usually, Darth Vader is Anakin Skywalker's alias, when Anakin turned to the dark side and became a Lord of the Sith.) Anakin Skywalker is briefly seen fighting General Grevious, and Vader appears in a few scenes before being turned away a Lego version of George Lucas.
C-3PO's quote, "Say hello to my metal friend!" mocks the famous quote from Scarface (1983).
The Padawan 'Liam' is named in honour of Liam Neeson who plays Qui-Gon Jinn in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace
