TRIVIA

Trivia

The scene where Michael Madsen's character rapes Deniz Akkaya's character created a stir in Turkey, where Akkaya is a famous model. Interviewed by medias, Akkaya admitted that she had a hard time in the rape scenes: "This is not a scene you can try and work with. You have a hard time getting into that psychology. I would think if the same offer came in Turkey, but I would never accept it." The scene is very graphic and disturbing. "I saw the actors there for the first time. It was very difficult for me, but it ended in one shot. We didn't have to shoot it over and over," added Akkaya.
