In the intro, Elliott is standing next to some paintings under a bridge; these are known as the Lovejoy Columns in Portland, Oregon. Made in the early 50s and torn down in 2005.
The short film was shot in three days (hence the title Lucky Three); all of which was shot in Portland, Oregon (Pearl District, South East and North East).
The instrumental that opens the film is an acoustic version of "Baby Britain."
