On the other hand, Mannat is willing to get married to her boyfriend. Now, Pooran realizes why he has been brought here. The two different situations lead them to be friends. They together formulate a plan for getting what they both want. As Pooran is quite ignorant of the beauty and culture of Punjab, Mannat helps to show different aspects of the place and tries to make him connect with his family and roots. So, do they really stay friends and not marry one another as they have said? Watch the film, to know it.

Why should you watch Main Viyah Nahi Karona Tere Naal?

Sonam Bajwa in the character of Mannat shines beautifully. Director Rupinder Inderjit has given us a feisty heroine who lives on her own conditions and terms. A happy-go-lucky and a Canada-settled-man is played well by Gurnam Bhullar. The element of the love-hate relationship of both the characters works like magic on the screen. The movie is a romantic comedy that may delight you with its fabulous storyline. When you see the entire cast playing their respective roles on screen, you start chuckling naturally. In addition, the execution of some wedding celebration scenes is done well.

The songs in the movie are situational and help to blossom the beautiful relationship between the two. Dialogues go hand-in-hand in order to make the scene even more hilarious. Although the second half of the movie goes at a snail's pace for a while, it compensates when the story leads to its end. The subplot of Pooran’s blind grandmother may make you feel emotional. It is nicely executed when she wants to be a singer but couldn’t fulfill her dream. You feel connected with her track. So, we can say that the cheerful background score with amazing cinematography won’t disappoint you.

In short, Main Viyah Nahi Karona Tere Naal is a family entertainer and a fun-packed movie that is not to be missed. If you love to watch movies depicting the love equation between an NRI and a full-on desi girl, then watch this piece. Also, you will be in for a treat if you are an ardent listener of Punjabi music.

    Trivia Alert

    • Some music portions in the movie are composed by the lead actor himself. The songs “Rakhin Dil Gura Kar Ke,” and “Jinna Jinna” are quite melodious and catchy.
