"Midnight Runners" was sold to six countries at the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market. The rights to the film have been purchased by companies including Japan's The Klockworx, Taiwan's Long Shong, Hong Kong's Deltamac HK, Philippines' Viva Comm and Singapore's Purple Plan.
Seo-joon Park and Ha-Neul Kang both played the lead role for writer Sang-Choon Im. Seo-joon Park played the lead role on Fight for My Way (2017) and Ha-Neul Kang played the lead role on When the Camellia Blooms (2019).
The film was remade in Telugu language as Saakini Daakini (2022) (2022)
