  Given that its subject matter contains music at its core, Mixed by Erry has the sense of a musical work, and for good reason. It plunges us into the extraordinary lives of three brothers who made millions by peddling copied music cassettes in Naples, Italy, in the 1980s without wasting a single frame, right from the first frame. Its filmmaking is a shining example of a well-written story, and a pulsing edit is bringing it all together. Each scene has an underlying rhythm, a clear beginning, middle, and conclusion, and these elements together give the impression that the scenes are made up of various songs. A movie moves closer to being a sensation and delivering an experience when it begins to ring true like a piece of music. The harmony between the arts is perfect, and when we examine them attentively, we may detect a synchronous relationship between, say, a painting and a poem, or between a painting and a poem when it occasionally feels poetic or like a painting. Since cinema is the conclusion of all the arts, it possesses the traits of each and has its own pace. A gratifying experience is created by the cogent blending of formal and emotional elements, and Mixed by Erry does this well.
