Pradip Barua, a school headmaster in a remote Arunachal Pradesh town, faces a personal crisis. His family, living miles away in a small Assamese town, is being torn apart by the increasingly aggressive and self-destructive behavior of his son, Partha. The emotional distance between Pradip and his family widens as Partha's actions torment his mother and sister. The domestic distress turns darker when Partha violently attacks a local electrician, pushing the family to its edge. When Partha is later found brutally assaulted and hospitalized, a police investigation uncovers hidden truths and a father's desperate attempt to protect his family.

The film is an adaptation of the renowned Assamese writer-director Bhabendra Nath Saikia's celebrated novel of the same name.
The world premiere was held at the 23rd Chennai International Film Festival in December 2025.
