The film was part funded by a Kickstarter campaign.
The scene in the bed and breakfast towards the end was complicated by the fact that Abigail Hardingham had come down with the Novovirus bug and was vomiting constantly in between takes.
One of series of similarly themed films about resurrected girlfriends after their death that were all released around the same time. The others include Life After Beth (2014) and Burying the Ex (2014).
The fake blood used got so sticky the sheets would stick to the actors while filming. They solved the problem by adding lube to the fake blood.
