Nothing Like Paris Review

“Walang KaParis” is a beautifully crafted film that explores the themes of love, art, and destiny. Jojo, a Filipino artist in Paris, is searching for the woman who has inspired his paintings for years. The movie takes the viewers on a journey through the winding streets of Paris, as Jojo meets different women who he believes could be his muse. However, fate intervenes when Marie comes into his life and claims to be the subject of his paintings. The chemistry between the two is palpable, and the movie does an excellent job of building up their relationship slowly. The film's cinematography is breathtaking, capturing the charm of Paris and its romantic allure. The director's ability to weave together the themes of love and art is impressive, and the story is well-paced, keeping the audience engaged throughout. The performances of the actors, especially the lead roles played by Jojo Alejar and Rufa Mae Quinto, are remarkable, adding depth and emotion to their characters. Overall, “Walang KaParis” is a heartfelt and enjoyable film that will appeal to anyone who appreciates a good love story.
