Pareshan, directed by Rupak Ronaldson, is a village drama that attempts to provide an out-and-out comedy entertainer. Thiruveer delivers a superb performance as Issac, showcasing impeccable comedy timing and spot-on expressions. The movie effectively portrays the nature of the Telangana region, allowing the audience to relate to it easily. The songs are well-written, composed, and suitably placed in the narrative. The first half of the film is watchable, thanks to the humor and the enjoyable love track between Thiruveer and Pavani Karanam. However, the film falters in the second half, with forced comedy and excessive stretching of the storyline. The lack of emotional depth and proper balance between comedy and other aspects is also noticeable. Despite its shortcomings, Pareshan has a few fun moments and solid performances from the cast.
