This is the fourth movie, directed by Neil Breen and the first to use crowdfunding for its production. However, Breen stated that he already had enough funds to produce the movie yet used crowdfunding to supplement and improve the final product.

Production was briefly halted when Neil Breen re-written his character from a Down syndrome Plutonian to a messianic entity.

Easter Egg: Aaron Brand's denim military vest is seen being carried around towards the end of the film

Writer/Director Brian A. Metcalf (The Lost Tree, Living Among Us, Adverse) said in an interview that Neil Breen inspires all of his work, calling him not only the most brilliant man in independent film, but maybe all of Hollywood.

Easter Egg: Aaron Brand's denim vest from Double Down is shown in a few scenes.
