This Spanish horror-comedy takes the viewers through a whirlwind of drama, horror, and comedy when three women sets out to discover the truth of paranormal activities with their remarkable talents after father PÃlon disappears. The setting of the film is also grave and resonates well with the entire theme of the film, most of the scenes are filmed in an antique shop which becomes the center of strange and unexplainable things happening. The overall quality of the film is excellent and depicts traditional horror elements like muted hues, insufficient illumination, objects toppling from walls, doors being shut and opened, intermittent lighting, and a blend of multiple paranormal investigations done by three women who are looking for answers. It is a good light-hearted horror comedy that has a gripping storyline that aims to keep the audiences glued to their screens from the very start. Phenomena is a great movie for horror-comedy lovers and should be watched at least once.
