TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Although the first film of the franchise was a remake of the Spanish film REC (2007), Quarantine 2 has no relation to any of the REC films and has an entirely different plot and setting.

As this is a stand-alone sequel, no characters or cast members return from the previous film.

The airplane used for filming is an Embraer ERJ-145 borrowed from Chautauqua Airlines, as seen on a label in the cabin.

Mercedes Mason would later have a role in the similarly themed Fear the Walking Dead (2015), both about a zombie outbreak. Similarly, the webisodes "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462" are concerned on the outbreak reaching a plane.

Like its predecessor, this film is scored only with sound effects during the end credits.

Popular Dialogues

"Shilah: It's just not my day to fly."

"Ralph: Stop the plane. Let me off!"
