Rekha is a unique Malayalam revenge drama about a woman who must fight back against an act of injustice committed against her during a one night stand. Let's get the elephant out of the room; the plot of the film is quite predictable, which is rather dampening for a thriller. But what saves the day for the film is the direction and cinematography. Despite the predictability of the storyline, the creators manage to weave it in a way that keeps you immersed until the end. There is nothing new that Rekha offers, but the acting performances make it is paisa vasool film. Both Vincy and Unni, the lead actors, do justice to their characters, providing them with the depth the story required. Whether be it the innocence of a character like Rekha, or the maniacal thought process of the man, the actors have left no stone unturned to make it one of the more interesting Malayalam movies to watch online.
