Royalteen: Princess Margrethe, a Norwegian teen romance drama from 2022 about the offspring of Scandinavian bluebloods, is the sequel to the holy living crap out of Royalteen.The first movie focused on the romance between Prince Kalle (Mathias Storhoi) and commoner Lena (Ines Hoysaeter Asserson), but the second sidelines our young lovers to follow Kalle's twin sister Margrethe (Elli Rhiannon Muller Osborne), who acted like a total elitist shit before, apparently because she has all kinds of problems. Both movies are based on a series of books by Anne Gun Let's see whether those problems truly cause her to transform from a reviled foe to a likeable hero. Princess Margrethe (Elli Müller Osborne) struggles to reconcile the demands of her royal duties, family conflict, and just being a teenager. She longs for normalcy. She comes under scrutiny from her family after a controversial occurrence at prom and turns to drugs to ease her mounting fear and loneliness. Her maladaptive coping strategy quickly has devastating effects as her connections with her family and friends fall apart all around her.
