One of the props from this film (a crucifix) appeared in the Louis Theroux documentary Louis and the Nazis (2003). It is owned by John Malpezzi.
In the 1980 book "The Golden Turkey Awards" by Harry and Michael Medved, this film won the award for Worst Blaxploitation Movie of All Time.
Several scenes in this film are backed by a creepy musical tonality similar or almost identical to one that was used in The Exorcist.
