Duncan Regehr who also stars in the movie is an accomplished artist as well as an actor. His paintings are used in the film and are exhibited at the Smithsonian and at the Getty museum among other venues and galleries.
In the scene where Jill shows Mike the medallion she found, she talks about the bishop Saint Nicholas. Mike says "You make him sound like Zorro". Duncan Regehr, who plays Mike in this movie, also played Zorro in the TV-series Zorro (1990).
