Flash Connection: John Wesley Shipp played the titular character in The Flash (1990) TV series. His character in this project is named Lt. Thawne and shares the last name with Eobard Thawne, a.k.a., Flash villain Reverse Flash/Professor Zoom. Shipp also voiced Professor Zoom in the Brave and the Bold animated series.
The 1968 Cherry red Cadillac driven by Loki Jones in the movie, was damaged during production. The producers had to get the car repaired in time for the next shooting date where it was needed.
The film has a neat connection to the 1991 TV series "The Flash". John Wesley Shipp, who played the superhero, co-starred in the series with Amanda Pays, who is married to none other than the film's consulting producer and starring actor Corbin Bernsen.
