Debbie Rochon said Jay Lind asked her to star in early 2001. Shooting was delayed a couple of times due to cast conflicts and the September 11th terrorist attack, but filming was finally scheduled to began at the end of September in Maryland. She and co-star Sun DeVil drove seven hours together to get there.
Debbie Rochon told Draculina magazine that after production wrapped, she was relaxing at director Jay Lind's house, where she was staying, when he suddenly asked if she'd be up for posing for nude photos to promote the movie. She said "Absolutely." So she stripped while he set up the lights. In the middle of the shoot, she asked Lind if he had any fake blood. He said of course, so she told him to pour it over her. The rest of the shoot was her naked and covered in blood.
