Binky the Clown mentions to his friends in the clown bar that he is now the star of a major kid's cartoon show, even though none of the segments shown from his show are animated. Tom Kenny, the actor playing Binky, went on to become the voice of SpongeBob.

This was the first film Adam Sandler and Blake Clark appeared in together. They would go on to work together in many films.

Colin Quinn was asked to play Stenchy, but turned the role down because he didn't want to wear a dress.
