David Hasselhoff reunites with his Baywatch (1989) co-stars Gena Lee Nolin and Alexandra Paul, including a Baywatch trademark scene where the women run in slow motion.
Dan Yeager, who starred in Texas Chainsaw (2013) as Leatherface, is also in this movie as a character named "Gunnar". Gunnar Hansen was the name of the actor who played Leatherface in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974). Caroline Williams also stars in this film as a character named "Stretch", which was her character's name in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986). This film's poster has a giant chainsaw on it, which is another "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" reference.
(at around 5 mins) Adrian Zmed is the man who asks, "Who's that guy?" as Fin walks by in the casino. This is a nod to Grease 2 (1982), in which he sings a song with this line.
(at around 15 mins) When they're on the pirate ship in Las Vegas, Fin calls out to one of the guys and says, "Hey, bud, do you know how to raise the sail?" The man he says this to is David Faustino, who played "Bud" on Married... with Children (1987).
(at around 26 mins) We see a car with a license plate that reads "SHKNDO4".
