STORY

Story

Both Ernest Borgnine and Herbert Lom were born in the same year, 1917, never retired from acting, lived to be 95 and died within two months of each other--25 years after the making of this film--in 2012.

Both Arnold Vosloo and Nancy Mulford married after meeting and working together on this movie. Nancy Mulford's final movie would also feature Ernest Borgnine, Any Man's Death (1990)

Klaus Kinski, Christopher Lee and Donald Pleasence were all considered for key roles.
