TRIVIA

Trivia

There was no script when the creature puppets were made. Sébastien Godin simply knew he wanted to make a little creature film after having discussed ideas with Cayt Feinics. He asked Dustin Mills to come up with some concepts for the monsters and a screenplay was developed around his designs.

Some characters are named after filmmakers who have also made little creature films, such as David DeCoteau and John Carl Buechler. Brett Kelly, who plays Jackal Evans, also directed his own little creature movie in 2017, Ghastlies.

Detective O'Bannon is named after a character from one of director Sébastien Godin's favorite films Slime City (1988).

In the earliest iteration of the script, the Being was an alien.

The deaths were made to be deliberately non-graphic in order to sell the tone of the film as being more zany and silly than horror-oriented like Sébastien Godin's previous film Lycanimator was.
