Three of the actors in this film also had roles on 24 (2001). Dean Norris portrayed General Bowden in two episodes of the second season, Xander Berkeley portrayed George Mason in the first two seasons, and Gregory Itzin portrayed Vice President (later President Charles Logan) from seasons 4-8.
Two of the actors in this film had cameos in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998). Christopher Meloni portrayed the clerk at the Flamingo Hotel, and Gregory Itzin portrayed the clerk at the Mint Hotel.
