Early in the film, Crawl sings about the Hungry Man TV dinner he is about to eat. Mason Adams, who plays the grandfather, was a voice over announcer at the time the film was released.
Was originally supposed to be released in May of 1993 but was moved to July by Disney due to the fact that teenagers were the target audience of Pauly Shore's films and since they were out of school at the time, more of the demographic would be able to see the movie and Disney wanted to offer audiences an alternate film to go to other than the biggest summer blockbusters Jurassic Park (1993) and Sleepless in Seattle (1993) which were dominating the box office at the time of this movies release.
