The restaurant was open for four days in 2016 at a former Wendy's restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. As of Dec. 2019 the site remains vacant.
The distribution rights have been bought by YouTube RED for 3.5 million dollars. They never allowed it to be seen on their service but is now available for free on regular YouTube
Due to Morgan Spurlock's admission of sexual misconduct, the 2017 film wasn't distributed until September 2019 after Samuel Goldwyn Films got the rights from Youtube Red.
