TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

In Big Barda's closet, you can see the costume that belongs to her husband, Scott Free aka "Mr. Miracle".

When Kara and Superman are speaking Kryptonian it's actually Esperanto, an international constructed language similar to German.

Coincidentally, this movie was released the same week that Clark and Kara teamed up again to fight Darkseid on the WB's Smallville (2001). However, the plot of the Smallville episode was the reverse of what it was in the movie, where instead of Clark saving Kara from Darkseid, it was the other way around.

Takes place after the events of Batman/Superman Public Enemies, as it mentions the impeachment of President Luthor and the giant Kryptonite meteor that threatened the Earth in that movie.

This marks the third time that Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman have been teamed up together in an animated movie. The first was Justice League: New Frontier, and the second was Crisis on Two Earths. It is the first time that they were featured without any of the other founding members of the Justice League.

Popular Dialogues

"Superman: Mom, Dad, this is Kara. My cousin? Your niece? Kara: Mr. Kent, Mrs. Kent. It's so to finally meet you. I've heard so much about you both. [the house collapses from its damage] Superman: Don't worry. I can build a new one. Kara: I can help. I'm great with a hammer. I can pound. I'm a good pounder."

"Superman: [reading Zor-El's message] "This vessel carries my daughter, Kara Zor-El, from the now dead planet Krypton. Treat her as you would your own child. She will prove a treasure for your world." Batman: Treasure. You're sure of the translation? Superman: It says treasure. Not terror, not trouble. Always the cynic. You can't help yourself, can you? Batman: You know those tests I was running? Her cellular structure is a shade more dense than yours. She metabolizes sunlight more efficiently. It could be her youth. It could be something else. Bottom line, she might be more powerful than you. It makes me wonder. So does her sudden appearance."
