TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The main star Vince Colosimo once owned a take away shop very similar to that in the movie.

Michael Veitch played Freddie The Fry in the first part of the movie but due to scheduling problems he was replace with 'Peter Rowsthorne' who then played the role of Freddie The Fry for the rest of the movie.

The director and producer of the film Marc Gracie plays the voice of Freddie The Fry in the movie.

Rose Byrne and Alethea McGrath both starred in Knowing (2009), but don't share any scenes together.

The shopfront at which some scenes were filmed is actually a real shopping strip of about five shops in Alphington, Melbourne. However on the opposite side of the road is a railway line and train station so a 'Burgies' could not actually be built.
