Nathan Lane and Jerry Stiller's first collaboration in 2004. Their second is in The Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata (2004), one month later. Coincidentally, both films were released by Disney.

The film's theatrical poster is a parody of the 1992 theatrical re-release poster for Disney's Pinocchio (1940).

HIDDEN MICKEY: Mickey appears in the end credits in a Disney World photo.

Nathan Lane's third theatrically released animated film after The Lion King (1994) and Titan A.E. (2000).
