The role of the Bear Creature was actually played by a costume designer named Lucas Gunn. He worked on several aspects of the costumes used in the movie, but this was his very first creature design, as such he wanted to play the extra role of the creature (a very short role to be sure). After the movie released the part in which the bear creatures head is toyed with by the twins, became a fan favorite spawning several common references in internet memes etc.
In August 29, 2019 it was exhibited in Gijón, Asturias (Spain) as part of the 21st edition of the film festival Peor Imposible (Worse Impossible), which is dedicated to Z movies.
This movie is part of the notorious german "SchleFaZ" series. Thus, it was aired September 2022 on german TV station Tele5. ("SchleFaZ" is a german abbreviation, means "the worst films ever". In that series 2 hosts present the whole flick - and make fun of it throughout the movie).
