A scene involving Henry Silva and Caley Chase with them as Chuck's estranged grandfather and cousin was scripted but not filmed since the movie was becoming overlong, along with budgetary concerns. After interviewing him for the documentary Eurocrime! The Italian Cop and Gangster Films That Ruled the '70s (2012) , Silva told the producers that he was eager to get back out in front of the cameras again but eventually asked for more money than the entire budget of the film.
2nd and 3rd billed Sabrina Machado and Robert Amstler shot all their scenes in a single day.

Both director / star Michael Fredianelli and cinematographer Michael A. Martinez were suffering from severe food poisoning during the filming of the infamous bathroom scene. Fredianelli's sickened appearance and the shaky camerawork during that scene were 100% genuine.
Bananas can be seen strategically placed in the background of many scenes.
