TRIVIA

Trivia

The film was previously titled " Khatra Hain" and " Dreams Unlimited - The Film".

THE FILM may have gone unnoticed at the box-office, but debutante director Junaid Memon hasn't given up on the film yet. Although the film has been released in a few territories Junaid was all set to re-release the film wherever it had been released as well as open it in other circuits with a new title. While the original title [THE FILM] was retained, he had decided to add a fresh title before the original title and release it all over again. In fact, there re rumors that he had decided to rename the film after a notorious gangster, since the film deals with extortion. Someone did suggest that the film be called by that [gangsters] name, but Junaid did not like that.. I am still undecided about the new title, but I should take a decision in a few days since I plan to re-release the film in the first week of January. Another thing that Junaid has decided is shoot a brand new promo with Mahima Chaudhary wherein she addresses the audience directly, telling them that not many people ventured to watch the film due to its offbeat title [THE FILM], but since the film is all about dreams, aspirations and extortion, the moviegoers must give the film a try when it releases in their city.

The Film could not have been better timed. Just when Mumbai is agog with Abu Salem's extradition from Portugal and how he exercised his sway over Bollywood, director Junaid Memon plays around with the theme of the underworld's role (Salem becomes Shamim Bhai in his script) in the Hindi film industry and interlaces it nicely with dreams and aspirations of a group of seven struggling hard to get a toehold in filmdom.

The film did not have a theatrical release in British Columbia,Canada.
