Every cast member was given 6 months rehearsal time apart from Reese Scholtz who played Cosmo and Michael Schiniou who played Daisy.Reese was cast 4 weeks before filming and Michael came on board 3 weeks before filming.
Michael Schiniou who plays Daisy, is known as Jazzy M, the Godfather of UK House Music. Jazzy M was the pioneer behind House Music in the late 1980s. Michael was brought onto the film 3 weeks before filming, giving him less amount of rehearsal time than Reese Scholtz.
Originally Darren Sean Enright was cast to play the role of Daisy.
Callum Andrew Johnston finished writing the screenplay at 20 years of age.
Callum Andrew Johnston usually works with the same cast and crew. Michael Oram who plays Jonjo, and Ali Storm who plays Rome, have been in Callum's previous projects he has written and directed.
