The film was received at Scottish Parliament in Spring 2018 for an exclusive event focusing on, 'Filmmaking in Scotland', with the main cast & crew in attendance.
The movie was released on DVD by Sony Pictures in the U.K of Summer 2017 and went on to be sold on multiple platforms and territories worldwide; including Amazon, iTunes, North America, Italy & Japan after being received at the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes.
The crew hired Àdhamh Ó Broin as their Scottish Gaelic Consultant; to work closely and assist the main actors with the dialect. He is probably best known for his work on the hit Starz series, Outlander (2014). He is also the founder of DROITSEACH and is the first person to raise a family of native speakers of his home dialect of Dalriada in the past century.
Ellie Reid went on to play the younger version of Kerry Browne's character in the sci-fi feature, Tellurian.
Was accepted into the prestigious 70th Edinburgh International Film Festival's 'Works in Progress' Event of Summer 2016.
