TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Flynn the Fine dies and is resurrected a total of 27 times throughout the film.

Kevin's cat, Guenhwyvar, is named after Drizzt Do'Urden's astral black panther of the same name in stories by R. A. Salvatore.

In the dungeon, a sign on a door the characters pass through that Sir Osric removes (apparently due to it being a trap) has letters in stencil form that say "Long Live Gygax," a reference to the author and originator (Gary Gygax) of the original Dungeons and Dragons game.

The unwillingness of "Mark" to play a campaign ("last time it was weird") and his panicking reaction when Kevin mentions his next villain "the Shadow", are both nods to the movie The Gamers (2002).

The actor who plays Lodge's roommate Mitch, who is only ever pictured lying drunk in a dimly lit hallway, is the film's writer/director Matt Vancil.

Popular Dialogues

"Luster: This flask is now full of holy water. Tell us what we want to know... or I'll give you a bath! Drazuul: Your threat's empty. A paladin cannot stand by while torture takes place. [Luster looks over at Sir Osric] Sir Osric: [sighs] My, what fine yet rustic architecture. I think I will examine it more closely."

"Brother Silence: He who stumbles around in darkness with a stick is blind. But he who... sticks out in darkness... is... fluorescent! [beat] Lodge: Lose fifty experience."
