TRIVIA

Trivia

The first new Jetsons production in over 27 years since Jetsons: The Movie (1990), 55 years after the original 1960s series and also the first Jetsons film without the original creators William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, who both died respectively in 2001 and 2006, and the first Jetsons production to feature none of the original voice talents from the series, though Jeff Bergman returns from the 1990 film.

Vince McMahon alludes to Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery (2014) another crossover film with Hanna-Barbera and WWE properties, as McMahon says Astro isn't the first talking dog he's met. Both films were also produced by Brandon Vietti.

When Elroy said that going fast enough around the moon would slingshot you back in time is a reference to Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986) but in that movie they slingshoted around the sun to go back in time.

Frank Welker voices Astro in the film, utilizing his Scooby-Doo voice for Astro. Though both of Welker's voices sound exactly alike, Don Messick's Astro and Scooby sounded a lot alike in the original show's later seasons as well.

This is the first time in the franchise that the police force has an African American.
