In a tragic bit of parallel, 17 years after the movie was made, Jordan Oschin was fatally struck as pedestrian by a car. In this movie, Sean Evans, the character played by Oschin, is the only one among the three adolescent passengers to die when the station wagon they are in tumbles and overturns down a shallow hill. This film is also his last known film role.
