Outstanding Young VoiceOver | 2002 | Aria Noelle
This is the first time Littlefoot mentions his mother who died in the first film, describing about her being there wherever he is while singing "Always There".
Anndi McAfee, who took over as the voice of Cera, not only had previously been the voice of Amber the Corythosaurus in Dink, the Little Dinosaur (1989) (another animated series about Young Dinosaurs), but also happens to be the Older Sister of Scott McAfee, who'd been the voice of Littlefoot in the 3 previous films in the series.
The shark that attacks Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie and Spike is not a megalodon as some fans think, but actually a cretoxyrhina.
At the beginning of the film when the gang are arguing over who gets the tree star Cera reveals that she's the oldest of the group but technically she isn't the oldest of the group Ducky is as she was the 1st one to be seen hatching at the beginning of the 1st film before Cera, Littlefoot, and Spike. Petrie's hatching was never seen.
This is the first film in the series in which Anndi McAfee is the voice of Cera, and Aria Noelle Curzon is the voice of Ducky. It is also the only film in which Brandon LaCroix plays Littlefoot; it is the first in which Thomas Dekker provides the singing voice for Littlefoot.
"Chomper: [about his parents] I'm sure they'll like you. Cera: How? Rare, medium, or well done?"
"Cera's Father: As much as I don't like to agree with the long neck, I'm afraid he's right."
