Gloria Franklin: [after leaving her unfaithful fiancé at the altar] Did you know that the North American Black Bear is over 200,000 years old? And it lives primarily along the Minnesota, North Dakota, Canadian borders. Phillip Reed: You must know a lot about bears. Gloria Franklin: Oh, yes! Zoology at Stanford. Phillip Reed: Excuse me but, Aren't you Marlin Perkins? Gloria Franklin: Oh! You recognized me. [removes her veil] Phillip Reed: Well, the dress did have me fooled for a minute. You're not from around here, are you? Gloria Franklin: Oh, no! I'm sorry but I did spend a lot of time in the arctic circle, you know. Phillip Reed: Excuse me, just one second. Gloria Franklin: What? [they kiss] Phillip Reed: That was great. Thank you! I feel so much better. And what were you saying? Gloria Franklin: Uh, I don't remember. Phillip Reed: You know of course that bears are anonymous in life. Gloria Franklin: No! Is that true? Phillip Reed: I don't know but it sounds good. Gloria Franklin: Well, Phil, where do we go from here? Phillip Reed: Anywhere. Anywhere but Acapulca. Gloria Franklin: Acapulca. Phillip Reed: Right! You see I'm wanted there. Gloria Franklin: No! You're wanted here."
