Stephen Hughes played the evil hunter Newmann in both the English and Spanish versions.
The voices for this film were originally recorded in English and then dubbed into Spanish after animation. Although the Spanish version did well in Spain's theaters, the original English version was never released in theaters and went straight to DVD, both in Spain and in the USA.
The song "Space Between Bodies", part of which we hear at the beginning of the film over the truck's radio, is sung by Lúa Ríos, the lead singer of We Are Balboa, who is also the sensual voice of Lynxette in the original English version of the film.
"Lincesa: What happen to you? Félix: I got into a fight with a... bear, a really big one. Sometimes, i can't control my wild instinct. Lincesa: You sure you didn't electrocute yourself on the fence? Félix: [pauses] Lincesa: Your hair is standing on air, you got burn marks on your paws, and well, i saw you when i got here. Félix: I... i didn't want you to think i was one of those tamed cats. Lincesa: Be careful! There are only a few of us left. And there will be even fewer if you keep having accidents like that."
