The shooting lasted for several months and was completed at the end of 2019. The originally planned premiere of the film was in the spring of 2020, but the pandemic moved all the projects, including this one.
The story of the film follows Ana Kolar, who six years after her husband's tragic death receives a video that assures her that he is still alive and she sets off in search of him.
"The role of Ana, which I got in Darko Nikolic's film, is a great challenge and an opportunity for me to try something completely new for me. The audience can rarely watch thrillers by our authors in cinemas, this genre is in short supply in our country, so I am firmly convinced that "The only way out" will bring something new and fresh to Serbian cinema, "said actress Prpic.
The movie "The Only Way Out" will be shot during the fall in Belgrade, Split and on the mountain Povlen.
